This weekend seemed especially long. With New Years being on Thursday I only had to work one day this week. So this weekend seemed extra long. I am not complaining!!!
Friday we had our first Dining Dozen Dinner with 6 couples. Each couple will have to host twice a year...hosting means you do it all...everyone else shows up to eat and enjoy the evening. The Glenns were the first to host.

Sara and David made a nice spread of appetizers, dinner and dessert. January is Elizabeth's birthday month so we suprised her by singing to her and having an extra big brownie with a candle. She loved it.

Then the rest of the evening was filled with games and of course some laughs. Tracy and Jeremy brought their new puppy Zowie. She is a 9 week old boxer. She is a really good puppy.

Saturday Brian and I continued our goal of being healthier by going to the gym. (i am sore today) Then I went to the mall with Sara. We were there forever. She said she hadn't been at the mall that long since she was in Jr. High......haha we are old. Saturday night we watched the colts game at Kelly and Joel's house. Although we had a great time, I left a little depressed. Our poor colts lost in overtime. It very well could have been Marvin Harrison's last game as a colt. Those of you who know me, know that he is my all time favorite. I will be heartbroken and will probably cry when he either announces his retirement or gets cut from the team. I am hoping for retirement rather than the cut....I could stand to see him in another jersey.

Sunday Sara Glenn and I went to Church (another one of my goals) (I am not calling them resolutions becuase they usually fail....so they are goals). The message was about facing the economic storm with faith. Very interesting perspective on what is truly important. Then we just hung around for a pretty lazy sunday. Tomorrow back to a full week of work....boooo....
